Ingredients
for 2 servings
- 10 cardamom pods, deseeded (or 1 teaspoon ground cardamom)
- 2 ripe mangoes, diced (or 1 ⅓ cup mango pulp)
- ¾ cup plain yogurt
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 5 ice cubes, optional
- chopped pistachio, for garnish
- whipped cream, for garnish
Preparation
- Remove the cardamom seeds from the pods and crush into a powder with a mortar and pestle.
- In a blender, combine the ice, chopped mangoes or mango pulp, yogurt, milk, and ground cardamom. Blend until smooth. Adjust the sweetness and thickness according to your preference.
- Pour the lassi into glasses and garnish with whipped cream and pistachios.
