Penne With Tomato Sauce
Whipping up a delectable penne with tomato sauce is as simple as it is satisfying. The list of ingredients is short and familiar, making this an excellent recipe for even a kitchen novice. Canned crushed tomatoes are cooked with sautéed onion, garlic, and chili flakes to create a quick, aromatic, and tasty marinara sauce. While the sauce simmers, boil a pot of salted water and cook the penne until perfectly al dente. Then, toss the tender pasta in the simmering sauce until evenly coated. A splash of reserved pasta water ensures a luscious consistency, while a pinch of salt adds the finishing touch.
