- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 3 nests of tagliatelle noodles (about 3 ounces total)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- ¼ cup diced yellow onion
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ cup thinly sliced cabbage
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup shredded beef
- parmesan cheese, to garnish

Preparation
- Bring the water to a boil in a small pot over medium heat. Stir in the salt, then add the noodles. Cook according to package instructions. Drain, reserving ⅓ cup pasta water on the side.
- In a pan over medium heat, add the olive oil. Add the onion and garlic, and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes, or until aromatic.
- Add the cabbage and the ⅓ cup reserved pasta water. Saute, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes, or until the cabbage has softened.
- Add the tomato sauce, and stir to combine. Stir in the shredded beef until combined. Stir in the cooked noodles. Mix and garnish with Parmesan.
