Ingredients
for 4 servings
- 1.5 cups plus 3 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 large sweet onion, peeled and sliced into ⅛-inch-thick rings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 12 slices turkey pepperonis
- ¼ cup hot honey
- ½ cup marinara sauce, warmed

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick silicone baking mat.
- Spread 1½ cups of the Parmesan evenly over the prepared baking sheet in a thin, uniform layer. Top evenly with the onion slices. Brush the tops with oil, and sprinkle with the Italian seasoning and paprika. Top evenly with the pepperoni and the remaining 3 tablespoons Parmesan.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is golden and crispy. Remove from the oven. Let cool on the baking sheet for 2–3 minutes.
- Remove the onion chips from the baking sheet, and drizzle with the hot honey. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
