- 15.5 oz canned chickpeas (440 g), drained and rinsed
- 1 ½ cups oats (150 g)
- ½ cup shredded carrots (55 g)
- ½ cup diced red onion (75 g)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- whole wheat burger bun
- sliced tomato
- 1 head butter lettuce
