Preparation

  1. Make the dough: Place the water, oil, sugar, oregano, garlic powder, salt, yeast, and 2 cups of the flour in a large bowl. Mix with a spatula until the dough is shaggy. Knead the dough in the bowl with your hands until pliable, 5–10 minutes, adding a few tablespoons of the remaining flour as needed if the dough is too sticky.
  2. Grease the sides of a large bowl with some oil, and add the kneaded dough. Roll it around to coat in the oil, and cover. Let rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
  3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll the dough flat on a 10 x 15-inch parchment-lined baking sheet, gently stretching to reach the pan perimeters.
  4. Using a fork, poke about 10 holes around the center and perimeter of the dough to prevent large bubbles when baking. Top the pizza with your toppings in the order as listed. Bake for 13–15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Enjoy!
