Ingredients
for 30 servings
- ½ cup watermelon juice
- ½ cup sugar
- 1.5 (.25-ounce) envelopes unflavored gelatins
- ½ teaspoon dragon fruit powder, optional
- ½ cup tequila
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
- 15 whole limes, cut in half

Preparation
- Carefully use a paring knife and spoon to hollow out the lime halves to remove all membranes and pith.
- Juice the membranes to get ⅓ cup fresh lime juice.
- In a small pot over medium heat, combine the watermelon juice and sugar; stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the gelatin and dragon fruit powder, if using. Stir until gelatin dissolves. Add the lime juice and tequila. Set aside.
- Add lime halves to a paper-towel lined baking tray then fill each one to the top with jello mixture. Place in the refrigerator and allow them to set for at least 3 hours.
- Once set, cut each lime shell into wedges and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
