Ingredients
for 6 servings
Hummus:
- 2 cans chickpeas, 3 cups cooked chickpeas
- 2 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup water (60 mL)
- 2 ½ tablespoons tahini sauce
- ¼ cup lemon juice (60 mL)
- 2 ice cubes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Meat ingredients:
- 1 lb sirloin steak (455 g), cooked and cut into small pieces
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon all-spice
- ¼ cinnamon
- ¼ cardamom powder
- pine nut, paprika, and parsley for garnish

Preparation
- Blend all the hummus ingredients except for the olive oil together in the food processor for 2 minutes, then mix everything with a spoon and blend for another minute.
- Add the olive oil and mix with a spoon.
- Drizzle olive oil in a skillet and cook the meat on medium heat with the spices.
- Put the hummus on a plate and top with meat pieces. Garnish with paprika, pine nuts, and parsley and serve with crudites or pita wedges.
