  • ½ cup melted unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1.25 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice, plus more for serving
  • 2 skin-on salmon fillets (about 1 pound total)s
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

  1. In a small pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the crushed garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, oregano, and ¼ teaspoon of the salt. Let the mixture simmer over medium-low, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes, or until the butter slightly darkens. Stir in the lemon juice. Set the mixture aside to cool.
  2. Line your air fryer with parchment paper, and preheat to 390°F (around 200°C).
  3. Sprinkle the salmon all over with the pepper, garlic powder, and remaining 1 teaspoon salt. Arrange the salmon, skin side up, on the parchment in the preheated air fryer. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the garlicky butter over each piece.
  4. Air-fry for 8–10 minutes, until the skin is crisp and the salmon is done to your liking.
  5. Finish the salmon off with more garlic butter, and serve with extra lemon.
