- 2–3 Meyer lemons or yuja (citron fruit), thoroughly washed to remove any wax
- 1 cup honey or raw sugar, adjusted to taste
- A clean glass jar with a tight-fitting lid

Preparation
- Thinly slice the Meyer lemons or yuja (citron fruit), including the peel, and remove the seeds.
