Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°(200°C)F. Line a muffin pan with paper liners.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a cutting board. Cut out 8 flower shapes using a 4-inch flower-shaped cookie cutter. Reroll the remaining dough from the cutouts, and cut 4 additional flower shapes.
- Place a puff pastry cutout in each paper liner. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden, or according to puff pastry package directions. Transfer the baked flower pastries in the muffin liners to a wire rack. Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, stir together the cream cheese and 1 tablespoon of the strawberry jam in a bowl until combined to make strawberry cream cheese.
- Place the strawberry cream cheese and the remaining strawberry jam in separate piping bags, and pipe into the centers of the pastries. Alternatively, use a small spoon to add the fillings to the centers of the pastries.
- Sprinkle with a dusting of powdered sugar, if desired.
- Enjoy!
