Tell Us The Kitchen Gadgets That Looked Amazing Online But Are Now Collecting Dust In Your Junk Drawer
We've all been there.
As cooking aficionados, we've all bought at least one "unnecessary" kitchen gadget. You don't necessarily need them to make a great meal, but they certainly sound great in theory.
While some of these gadgets are indeed innovative and useful, others end up being more of a waste of money than any kind of viable kitchen solution. For example, I thought I struck gold when I bought my boiled egg slicer. It sounded genius in theory — it cuts a boiled egg into thin pieces in about two seconds.
While it's great for someone who eats boiled eggs every day, I definitely don't eat enough boiled eggs to justify the purchase. I also bought it intending to make egg salad, but I realized I prefer hand-cutting the eggs for thicker, misshapen pieces. Now, it just sits in one of my kitchen cabinets, waiting for the day it'll see the light of day again.
I know I'm not the only one who's hit 'buy now' on Amazon far too quickly for a gadget like the one above, so now I'm curious: What kitchen gadget did you HAVE to buy, but now just sits collecting dust?
