I Ate A Bunch Of "Back To The Future" Food At Universal Studios, Here's What I Thought

Where we're going, we don't need forks.

Hello, friends, I'm Crystal, and I'm a big fan of Back to the Future, as well as trying wild, interesting, and new foods at theme parks. So, when I found out Universal Studios Hollywood currently has an entire menu of Back to the Future-themed food, I thought...this is heavy!

A person in 80s-style clothing with a red vest and a person in casual attire stand by a DeLorean, with a fluffy dog inside. Various clocks are on a wall

Now, some of the BTTF food was actually introduced during Universal's Fan Fest Nights. But the good news for anyone who couldn't make it to that limited event is that it's still available (with some NEW additions) as part of Universal's Mega Movie Summer!

Here's a look at the entire Back to the Future menu, which is available at Mel's Diner in the park:

Diner menu board featuring themed items like “Flux Capacitor Patty Melt” and “Doc Brown’s Chicken Pot Pie.” Options include burgers, salads, and desserts

Here's what I thought...

Flux Capacitor Patty Melt

Doc Brown's Chicken Pot Pie

FYI, this one makes for a great video!

Finally, the Outatime Cookie

Rectangular cake with two red and yellow icing lines, a "40 Years" plaque, and an embossed design on a round metal plate

As I mentioned, this special Back to the Future menu is available at Universal Studios Hollywood as part of their Mega Movie Summer! And, FYI, if BTTF isn't your ~thing~, there's also fun food themed around Jaws, Jurassic World, and How to Train Your Dragon available throughout the park.

Oh, and be SURE to get a pic with the iconic GIANT SHARK from Jaws that's been reintroduced to the theme park for Mega Movie Summer! (Maybe you remember it from your childhood?!). Obsessed. And if you're lucky, you might get a chance to meet Captain Quint and Chief Brody, who are making their theme park debut!

Universal Mega Movie Summer is going on NOW through Sunday, Aug. 10, and you can get your tickets at UniversalStudiosHollywood.com.
